Pre-Need Plans

Monthly Payment Plan Options

For your convenience, we have a monthly payment plan available for Pre-need Arrangements.  Please note, in the event the person passes away before the plan is fully funded, the balance of unpaid monthly fees becomes due and payable at the time of need.

Requirements:

       ·        Down Payment is the total of all Cash Disbursements for the contract

·        Monthly payment starts one month from date of signature, and will be automatically debited from your chequing account- a Void Cheque is required

·        Plan becomes fully funded only after the final payment is made.

 Cancellation Policy:

·        Plan is fully portable.  If cancelled prior to full payment, a service charge is held back equal to 10% of the amount in the plan (to a maximum of $200).

·        Once fully funded, if there is a cancellation, 100% of the amount in the plan is refunded (no service charge is charged).

All funds are held by TD-Canada Trust in Trust for the beneficiary of the plan.

We strongly believe our pre-need plan is right for you.  We would like to offer you a free Cremation/Burial Planning Guide that will assist you in keeping your affairs in order.  This planning guide has a serious value and was designed by estate planning experts to help make things easier for your executor or trustee.  It’s yours without any cost or obligation of any kind.  We’ll deliver right to your door.

Warning About Some Insurance Funded Plans:

Some funeral providers will try to sell you a life insurance plan as part of their Pre-Need Funeral planning process.  Be very careful about these plans.  Some of the insurance products require a monthly payment of premium for coverage.  At death, the funeral is paid for by the life insurance plan.  What they fail to tell you is this... if you fail to make your monthly premium payment even once, you could not only lose the the coverage, but you could also lose all the money you have invested to that point.  A rather nasty surprise!  Ask the right questions.  Remember, at all times it's your money we are talking about.  You have the right to refuse to do business with them.
